About the position

The CNC Automation Operator is responsible for ensuring the seamless operation of automation cells, focusing on operational efficiency and quality assurance in the production of high-quality parts. This role involves loading and unloading products, maintaining equipment, resolving issues, and promoting safety within the workplace.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure operational efficiency by loading, unloading, and managing products on the machine.
  • Maintain quality standards by measuring products using CMM and documenting on quality sheets.
  • Keep equipment in top condition by replacing tooling, filling fluids, and maintaining machine cleanliness.
  • Resolve issues swiftly by fixing alarms and collaborating with maintenance and engineering teams.
  • Promote safety by following all safe work practices.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience and/or training in CNC operations.
  • Ability to set up and operate CNC machining centers.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Proficiency in reading and understanding simple instructions and correspondence in English.
  • Basic arithmetic skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with coordinate measuring machines (CMM).
  • Leadership skills.
