About the position
We are seeking an Entry Level Machinist to join our rapidly growing tool and die mold shop. This position is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to start a career in machining, focusing on foundational skills necessary for future development in the field.
Responsibilities
- General shop maintenance
- Basic machine maintenance
- Tooling and raw material inventory management
- Basic machine setup
- Perform basic assembly tasks as required
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively
- Report to the Shop Foreman and work with Toolmakers
Requirements
- Some mechanical aptitude or background preferred
- Base math skills (pre-algebra level math)
