About the position

We are seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating CNC lathe machines, ensuring precision and quality in the production of parts. This role requires attention to detail, technical expertise, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC lathe machines to produce components according to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine machining requirements.
• Set up tooling and fixtures for machining operations.
• Monitor machine operations to ensure quality standards are met.
• Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Utilize measuring tools such as calipers to verify dimensions of finished products.
• Collaborate with team members in the assembly line and materials handling processes.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols.

Requirements

• Proficient in tooling setup and operation of CNC lathe machines.
• Familiarity with SolidWorks for design interpretation is a plus.
• Experience in warehouse operations and materials handling.
• Strong ability in blueprint reading and understanding technical specifications.
• Basic math skills for calculations related to machining processes.
• Ability to operate forklifts safely (certification preferred).
• Experience in assembly line processes is beneficial.
