About the position

The CNC Lathe Programmer role at Aerotek involves programming and operating CNC lathes to produce precision parts. The position requires a strong understanding of CNC programming, particularly with Haas lathes, and the ability to work independently to meet production goals. The programmer will collaborate with the quality team to ensure that parts meet specified tolerances and will work from technical drawings and diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Program parts for Haas lathe.
• Full set up and prove out of programs.
• Run custom jobs from start to finish.
• Partner with quality team to ensure parts are accurate and to tolerance.
• Work off drawings and diagrams for part specificity.

Requirements

• Experience using MasterCam for programming.
• Experience with Haas Lathes.
• Experience with Double-chuck lathes.
• Experience with live tooling lathes.
• Ability to work and meet production goals with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment where production goals can change with little to no notice.
