About the position

Aero Foil International is seeking a motivated CNC Machine Operator to join their team, focusing on aerospace, automotive, and industrial gas turbine manufacturing processes. The role involves operating various CNC machines, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring quality through inspection and logging. The position is full-time and requires a willingness to learn and adapt to different machine operations.

Responsibilities

• Set up, program, and inspect CNC machines including CNC machining centers, CNC lathe, and CNC EDM machinery.
• Operate various machines such as Hole Driller, CNC grind machine, Milling Machines, and EDM Machines.
• Perform preventative maintenance on machinery and assist in troubleshooting and repairs.
• Use inspection equipment like surface plates, height gauges, indicators, micrometers, calipers, and hole gauges.
• Complete daily timecards and maintenance logs as per Quality Management System (QMS) requirements.
• Communicate with machine operators from other shifts to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain and secure work tools and keep the work area clean.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of experience with Haas CNC Machining required.
• 1 year of experience in Aerospace Manufacturing preferred.
• 1 year of experience in CBN Grinding preferred.
• Proficiency in using G-code and M-code in CNC machining.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Campbell Grinders, ONA RAM EDM's, Beaumont & CHMER Speed Hole EDM units is a plus.
• CMM experience is preferred.
