Responsibilities
- Operate multiple production machines such as saws, presses, drills, and automatic presses.
- Study blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, or specifications to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished workpieces.
- Measure dimensions on workpieces to ensure accuracy.
- Start and run machinery to produce products, detecting malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining.
- Adjust machine controls or control media as required to maintain product specifications.
- Verify conformance of finished workpieces to specifications.
- Adjust and operate machines on trial runs to verify accuracy of settings or programmed control data.
- Test operation of units to ensure functionality and performance.
- Assemble products as needed.
Requirements
- Entry-level to highly experienced manufacturing and CNC machining experience.
