About the position

The Setup Operator for CNC machines is responsible for programming, setting up, and operating various CNC equipment, including mills, lathes, and multi-spindle machines. This role is crucial for ensuring precision and efficiency in manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Program CNC mills and lathes according to specifications.
• Set up CNC machines for production runs.
• Operate CNC machines to produce parts to required tolerances.
• Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with CNC operations.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a CNC Setup Operator.
• Strong knowledge of CNC programming and operation.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Familiarity with ACME Gridley and INDEX multi spindle machines.
