Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines to fabricate components and products.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Perform routine maintenance on machines.
• Adjust machine settings to complete tasks accurately.
• Monitor the feed and speed of machines during the machining process.
• Inspect finished workpieces for accuracy and conformance to specifications.
• Maintain a clean work station and organize the shop area.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a machine operator.
• Working knowledge of diverse high-speed machinery and measurement tools (caliper, micrometer, etc.).
• Understanding of production procedures.
• Adherence to health and safety regulations (e.g. constant use of protective gear).
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and manuals.
• Analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to take the initiative and motivated to give 100% while at work.
• Physical stamina and strength (on feet for long periods of time).
• High school diploma; technical degree is a plus.
