About the position

The CNC Machinist Programmer will be responsible for interpreting engineering drawings and procedures to ensure the accurate machining of parts. This role involves working closely with the manufacturing team to meet production and safety targets while performing preventative maintenance on machines. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in CNC machining and a strong understanding of metrology, with opportunities for growth within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Interpret engineering drawings and procedures to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work pieces.
• Perform preventative maintenance of machines.
• Collaborate with team leaders to ensure safety, quality, and production targets are met.
• Verify dimensions of machined parts or tooling using measuring instruments and report deviations to the supervisor.
• Demonstrate excellence in CNC milling, turning, VBM, and horizontal milling.

Requirements

• Graduate from a technical school or equivalent.
• 5 years of CNC machining experience.
• Understanding of metrology.
• Advanced math skills, including geometry and trigonometry.
• Availability for 2nd shift, 2:30pm - 11pm, with flexibility for overtime.
