About the position
The CNC Machinist position involves operating CNC vertical lathes and performing set-ups, specifically for a 2nd shift contract role. The role requires a skilled individual with significant experience in CNC machining to produce high-quality machined parts with tight tolerances.
Responsibilities
- Perform set-ups on CNC vertical lathes
- Operate CNC vertical lathes to produce high-quality machined parts with tight tolerances
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a CNC Machinist
- Proficient in operating a CNC vertical lathe
- Fluent in performing set-ups, including repeating set-ups
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check
- Willingness to work 2nd shift (3:15 PM to 11:45 PM) and overtime (10-hour days/50 hours per week when necessary)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
