About the position

Protofab Engineering is seeking a full-time CNC Mill Machinist/Programmer for the 1st Shift (Monday-Friday 7am-3pm). The role involves operating CNC Mills, preferably Haas machines, and programming using Gibbscam. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, able to read engineering drawings, and capable of inspecting their work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Run CNC Mills, preferably Haas machines
• Program in Gibbscam with 1-5 years of experience
• Read and interpret engineering drawings
• Inspect work using various measurement methods
• Work on jobs according to due dates or as directed by management
• Maintain shop cleanliness
• Operate equipment in a safe manner
• Communicate with other shifts

Requirements

• Experience running CNC Mills
• Experience in Gibbscam (1-5 years)
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Self-motivated and able to work efficiently with minimal supervision
• Ability to inspect work using various measurement methods

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with G and M codes
• Knowledge of GD&T
