About the position
We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our team in Oceanside, California. The role involves interpreting blueprints, setting up and operating machinery, and ensuring the quality of the finished product. The Machinist will work in a machine shop environment and will be responsible for maintaining workspace organization and cleanliness while adhering to safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes.
- Ensure the quality of finished products by adhering to specifications.
- Compile and verify machining information and program data.
- Use pneumatic and electric tools safely and effectively.
- Maintain awareness of tolerances and flatness during machining processes.
- Deburr parts and ensure a clean and organized workspace.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Machinist or similar role.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Experience in setting up and operating CNC machines, lathes, and mills.
- Proficient in using micrometers and other measuring tools.
- Familiarity with pneumatic and electric tools.
