About the position

Foutz Motorsports is seeking an experienced CNC Operator and Programmer to join their team in Mesa, AZ. This full-time position involves operating and programming CNC mills and lathes, focusing on suspension components. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, the ability to follow directions, and experience with HAAS CNC equipment. The role requires setting up jobs, checking tolerances, and ensuring quality control of the products produced.

Responsibilities

• Set up CNC jobs in the mill and lathe.
• Check tolerances and change over tooling.
• Set tools and configure tool offsets.
• Program CNC jobs to be run from solid models for mill and lathe operations, including 4-axis milling and live tool lathe operations.
• Read blueprints and build fixtures for the machines as needed.
• Ensure all products are correct and pass quality control checks.
• Arrive to work on time and maintain a productive work ethic.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in CNC shop daily operations.
• At least 3 years of experience in CNC programming for both mill and lathe operations.
• Experience operating multiple CNC machines simultaneously.
• Ability to set tools, fixtures, and offsets to produce correct parts.
• Proficiency in reading and using basic measurement tools (tape measure, protractor, calipers, etc.).
• Self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Fusion 360.
