About the position
As a CNC Operator at Kaishan Compressor USA, LLC, you will be integral to the production of high-quality rotary screw products at our manufacturing facility in Loxley, Alabama. This role involves setting up and operating CNC machines to perform various tasks, ensuring precision and adherence to strict quality standards. Your expertise in interpreting technical drawings and collaborating with the production team will be essential for timely order completion.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, milling, and cutting.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Collaborate with production team to ensure orders are completed on time and to specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of experience operating CNC machines; over 3 years of experience is a plus.
- Experience with CMC Horizontal milling machines.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Mechanical aptitude and good math skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with precision measuring tools.
- Associate's degree in machining or related field.
