About the position

We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating CNC machines to produce precision parts and components. This role requires a strong understanding of machining processes, attention to detail, and the ability to read technical drawings. The CNC Operator will work closely with engineers and production staff to ensure high-quality output that meets specifications.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines, including lathes and milling machines, to fabricate parts according to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD files to determine machining operations.
• Set up and adjust machine tools for optimal performance.
• Utilize hand tools and measuring instruments such as micrometers to ensure accuracy in production.
• Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment to ensure operational efficiency.
• Program CNC machines using CAM software for complex machining tasks.
• Conduct quality control checks on finished products to verify adherence to specifications.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve production processes.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a CNC Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in CAD/CAM programming is preferred.
• Strong understanding of materials handling and machining processes.
• Familiarity with basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
• Ability to use hand tools and precision measuring instruments effectively.
• Knowledge of welding techniques is a plus but not required.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong commitment to safety protocols in the workplace.
