Responsibilities

• Program CNC lathes and mills utilizing FANUC and MAZATROL controls.
• Employ CAM software, conversational programming, and G&M codes to optimize machine operations for precision and efficiency.
• Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to set up CNC machines according to specifications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and logistical issues that arise during the machining process.
• Conduct quality assurance tests to ensure parts meet design specifications and quality standards.
• Adjust machine cutting paths and settings to improve production quality.
• Perform basic machine maintenance, including cleaning and tool sharpening, to ensure optimal performance.
• Train new employees on CNC machine operation and programming best practices.
• Operate and set up CNC lathes and mills as needed when programming is not required.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of programming experience required in lathes and mills.
• Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Expertise in CAM software, conversational programming, and G&M codes for CNC operations.
• Familiarity with FANUC and MAZATROL programming is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Proficient in troubleshooting mechanical issues and optimizing machine settings for high-quality production.
• Ability to train and mentor new employees on CNC operations and programming techniques.

Nice-to-haves
