Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize CNC programs for various machines based on engineering drawings and specifications.
- Utilize CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software to generate tool paths for machining operations.
- Ensure production of quality parts.
- Set up CNC machines, including loading raw materials, securing workpieces, and selecting appropriate tooling.
- Conduct thorough inspections of machined parts to verify conformance to design specifications.
- Inspect product geometry using various measuring tools.
- Commit to safety and production requirements while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Requirements
- Previous CNC & programming experience preferred.
- 1+ year of manufacturing experience preferred.
- Familiar with CNC mills and lathes.
- Solidworks & Mach3 CAD/CAM software experience a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Experience working with tight tolerance parts.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Self-motivated and can work independently with minimal guidance, as well as in a team setting.
