About the position

RPM Staffing is seeking a skilled CNC Machine Programmer/Operator for the 3rd shift in Sherman, Texas. The role involves operating CNC machinery, ensuring efficiency, performing quality checks, and maintaining equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience in a manufacturing environment and be proficient in reading blueprints and using M & G codes.

Responsibilities

• Operating assigned machinery and monitoring efficiency.
• Performing basic maintenance and quality checks on machinery.
• Setting up and operating machines according to specifications.
• Observing machine operations and detecting work piece defects.
• Making adjustments to machinery to improve performance.
• Troubleshooting issues and performing routine maintenance.
• Reading blueprints or job orders to determine product specifications and tooling instructions.
• Following reporting and recordkeeping procedures.
• Cleaning machinery and maintaining a clean work area.
• Reporting defective materials or questionable conditions to management.
• Assisting in other work areas as directed by the department supervisor.

Requirements

• Must be able to read a tape measure to 1/32".
• Must know M & G codes.
• Must have fabrication and multi-axis machine operating experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Minimum of 2 years of CNC experience required.
