About the position

The CNC Programmer position at Randstad US involves leading and executing the manufacturing process, specifically in thermoforming and CNC routing. Responsibilities

  • Perform setup and calibration of thermoforming and CNC router machines based on production specifications.
  • Operate machinery efficiently, following standard operating procedures (SOPs) to meet production targets and quality standards.
  • Adjust machine settings as needed to ensure optimal production outcomes.
  • Inspect parts during and after production to ensure adherence to quality standards, performing dimensional checks and verifying tolerances.
  • Identify defects or inconsistencies, ensuring corrective actions are taken before packaging and final delivery.
  • Package finished products per specifications, ensuring safe transport and accurate labeling.
  • Diagnose and resolve minor machine malfunctions to minimize downtime.
  • Conduct routine preventive maintenance, such as cleaning, lubricating, and checking equipment components to ensure longevity and reliability.
  • Collaborate with maintenance staff for repairs or complex troubleshooting as necessary.
  • Identify areas for improvement in the production process and collaborate with team members to implement changes.
  • Document process parameters, quality checks, and maintenance activities accurately for traceability and process control.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3-5 years in a manufacturing environment, with experience in operating and maintaining thermoforming and/or CNC routing machinery preferred.
  • Proven experience in quality inspection, troubleshooting, and basic machine maintenance.
  • CNC programming skills.
  • CNC setup and operating experience.
  • Ability to use calipers and micrometers.
  • Experience interpreting blueprints.
