About the position
The CNC Programmer will be responsible for programming CNC machines, interpreting technical blueprints, and ensuring quality control of the final products. This role involves providing leadership in CNC programming, supporting manufacturing processes, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within a global manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide CNC Programming leadership to CNC Operators and manufacturing processes.
- Interpret engineering drawings and develop CNC programs using CAD/CAM software.
- Provide technical support to the manufacturing group regarding CNC equipment and tooling.
- Determine tooling and gaging requirements for efficient part manufacturing.
- Develop Work Instructions and Setup Instructions for manufacturing parts.
- Create Inspection Methods and Instructions to ensure parts meet specifications.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience programming machining centers/CNC mills.
- Experience with Auto CAD and Mastercam is a plus.
- Proficient in programming CNC Mills and Lathes.
- Experience with Injection Molding is a plus.
- Broad knowledge of tooling required for complex machining operations.
