About the position

The CNC Machine Programmer role is designed for skilled professionals looking to leverage their technical expertise in a dynamic and supportive environment. Responsibilities

• Develop programs and fixturing for Haas Mills, Haas Lathes, Bridgeport-type mills, and manual machine centers.
• Collaborate with engineering to design and build fixtures that optimize production processes.
• Coach machine operators on set-up and run procedures for new parts.
• Create machine set-up sheets, including tool lengths and work offsets.
• Ensure parts are machined to specification, adjusting tool offsets and checking work for accuracy.

Requirements

• 5-7 years of experience in a machine shop environment, with a focus on CNC programming.
• Proficiency with Haas controls, G & M codes, GibbsCam programming software, and AutoDesk Vault drafting software.
• Technical school certificate/degree preferred.
• Strong understanding of machining processes, blueprint reading, and the use of precision measuring tools.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, standing for long periods, and occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs.
