About the position

The CNC Programmer role involves operating CNC milling machines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, ensuring high-quality production of precision-engineered components. The position requires a strong understanding of technical drawings and the ability to perform inspections and adjustments to meet customer specifications. The role emphasizes teamwork, communication, and the ability to work independently while contributing to the company's manufacturing goals.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently operate CNC milling machines to meet customer needs.
• Complete necessary documentation including job travelers, operator check sheets, and inspection reports.
• Perform proper inspection of first pieces and in-process inspections, making adjustments as required.
• Assist other employees to achieve company manufacturing goals.
• Work with minimal supervision while knowing when to seek assistance.
• Communicate effectively and work collaboratively as part of a team.

Requirements

• Must be able to read and understand technical prints.
• Must be able to utilize various measuring tools.
• 3 years' experience in an operator position with CNC Vertical 3-Axis milling centers.
• 5 years' experience in a setup/programmer position with CNC 3-Axis milling centers.
• Proficiency in Mastercam software.
