About the position
The CNC Programmer at Brinkman Products, Inc. is responsible for creating, modifying, and optimizing CNC programs to produce precise parts for various manufacturing processes. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong programming skills and a deep understanding of CNC machine operations, focusing on quality and efficiency in production.
Responsibilities
- Program CNC machines (mills, lathes, etc.) using CAD/CAM software.
- Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and 3D models to create accurate machine programs.
- Set up CNC machines, select tooling, and adjust machine parameters for optimal performance.
- Perform test runs and inspect parts to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Troubleshoot programming or machine issues and optimize processes for efficiency.
- Collaborate with the production team to ensure smooth machine operation and meet production deadlines.
Requirements
- Strong programming skills in CNC machining.
