About the position
The CNC Programmer role involves writing and editing CNC programs using MasterCam 17, troubleshooting production issues, and making necessary edits to enhance program efficiency. This position is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of CNC machinery and contributes to the overall productivity of the manufacturing process.
Responsibilities
- Write and edit programs using MasterCam 17
- Troubleshoot and problem solve CNC production issues
- Create and make edits to CNC programs
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience with CNC programming
- Familiar with offline programming using MasterCam 2017 or Unigraphics
- Able to understand and write G code
- Experience with Fanuc and/or Heidenhain controls
- Working up to 5 axis
- Proficient with working on hard steel and exotic materials (Ex: Titanium & Inconel)
