About the position

The CNC Programmer position at LNP Machining involves setting up and programming 5-axis and vertical CNC machines to create efficient programs for part production. The role requires a strong understanding of machining processes, GD&T, and material properties, along with effective communication skills to work collaboratively within the team.

Responsibilities

• Set up and program 5-axis and vertical CNC machines.
• Create efficient programs to manufacture parts in a timely manner.
• Verify programs using CAMplete.
• Understand and apply GD&T in programming.
• Communicate effectively with team members and other departments.

Requirements

• Knowledge of Mastercam 2025.
• Experience with Doosan 5-Axis, YCM 5-Axis, Horizontal Makino A61NX & Vertical Center Machine.
• Understanding of material properties and cutting techniques.
• Good communication skills.
• 6 years of CNC programming experience (preferred).
• 4 years of CNC experience (preferred).
• 4 years of CAM programming experience (preferred).

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with Mastercam.
• Ability to work as a team player.
