About the position

The lead CNC Machinist will be responsible for setting up and programming various CNC machines, including Two-Axis Lathes, HAAS Mill Machines, and Swiss Turning Lathes. This role involves making adjustments to programs for new jobs, leading and mentoring junior machinists, and managing essential data related to CNC operations. The position is critical for ensuring high-quality production of gas train components and machined parts.

Responsibilities

• Set up CNC Machines
• Lead and instruct junior machinists
• Manage programs and data such as offsets and tool data
• Make adjustments to programs as needed for new jobs

Requirements

• 10 years of experience setting up CNC Machines
• Hands-on experience with setting up and programming CNC Machines
• Ability to lead and mentor other machinists
• Proficiency in trigonometry and shop math
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and use correct measuring instruments
• Good computer literacy
• Strong attendance and punctuality
