About the position

The CNC Setup/Programmer is responsible for operating and managing CNC milling machines to produce precise parts and components according to specific designs. This role involves interpreting blueprints, adjusting machinery settings, and ensuring high product quality and efficiency while adhering to safety protocols and performing routine maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Operate and manage CNC milling machines to produce parts and components.
• Interpret blueprints and adjust machinery settings accordingly.

• Adhere to safety protocols and perform routine maintenance on machines.
• Manage materials effectively to minimize waste.
• Document processes and maintain accurate records.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in CNC operation or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 1-5 years of experience operating CNC milling machines.
• Familiarity with CAD CAM software and blueprint reading.
• Experience with Prototrak Knee Mills, Machining Center, Drill Press, and FlexArm preferred.

Nice-to-haves

• Technical certification in CNC operation or related field.
