Responsibilities

• Manage daily clinical and regulatory components of nutritional care.
• Oversee the clinical nutrition program for patients and residents.
• Coordinate the assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, and delivery of nutrition services.
• Ensure timely visitation of new admissions and completion of assessments and care plans.
• Maintain resident confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
• Attend and participate in departmental meetings.
• Provide in-service education to staff as needed.
• Assist in developing and reviewing departmental policies and procedures.
• Plan special menus and oversee the nutritional quality of meals served.
• Conduct regular Test Tray and Tray Accuracy evaluations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Current Registration with the CDR (RD).
• 2 years of experience as a Registered Dietitian in a clinical setting.

Nice-to-haves

• Master's degree.
• 1-2 years of management experience.
• Experience in both acute and long-term care.
• Experience with Gerimenu.
