About the position

The CNMS Strategic Business Operations Manager at GE Aviation is responsible for driving growth, enterprise problem solving, and operational excellence within the Computing, Networking & Mission Systems (CNMS) division. This role involves strategic planning, managing New Product Introduction (NPI) processes, and supporting business operations while ensuring adherence to GE processes. The position requires a blend of onsite and hybrid work arrangements, with a focus on collaboration and innovation in the aerospace sector.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement long-term and short-term strategic plans for the CNMS portfolio.
• Coordinate CNMS efforts to improve New Product Introduction (NPI) program execution processes.
• Lead the FLIGHT DECK lean implementation to address key P&L challenges.
• Support CNMS business operations including Weekly and Monthly Operating Reviews and adherence to GE processes.
• Provide regular updates and reports to senior leaders on program status and business performance.
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for program progress and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate business case financials and revenue forecasts with finance partners.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Program Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in strategic planning, program management, or business operations within the aerospace industry.
• Strong understanding of NPI processes and manufacturing operations.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Master's degree preferred.
• Experience with lean principles and methodologies.
• Proficiency in program management software and tools.
• EVMS experience desired.
• Active US DoD Security Clearance desired.
