About the position

Parsons is seeking an experienced Software Developer to join our team in support of specialized military cyber operations. In this role, you will be a critical member of a small team, responsible for leveraging your high-level software development capabilities to contribute to a vital national security mission. You will work alongside some of the best in the industry, dedicated to providing superior service in support of national defense objectives. Your primary focus will be on the weaponization and productization of proof-of-concept exploits or CVE vulnerabilities, ensuring these capabilities are operationally ready for use on live infrastructure. You will collaborate closely with the vulnerability research team to gather relevant information on the proof-of-concept exploits they generate and engage with customers to ensure that the products meet operational needs. This position requires a strong background in exploit development and a commitment to excellence in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform weaponization/productization of proof-of-concept exploits or CVE vulnerabilities to ensure operational readiness.
• Collaborate with the vulnerability research team to gather information on proof-of-concept exploits.
• Engage with customers to ensure that products meet operational needs.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI + Poly clearance.
• Minimum 10+ years of experience in exploit/CNO tool development.
• Minimum 8+ years utilizing programming languages such as Python, C, C++, x86.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field (Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, etc.).
• Ability to analyze proof-of-concept exploit/CVE vulnerability and engineer it to be stable and repeatable.
• Extensive experience in reverse-engineering both compiled binaries and source code to identify vulnerabilities.

Nice-to-haves

• Minimum 15+ years of experience in exploit/CNO tool development.
• Minimum 13+ years utilizing programming languages such as Python, C, C++, x86.
• Master's degree in a related field (Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, etc.).
• Experience in building and designing small to medium applications in Python.
• Familiarity with other languages such as C/C++ or assembly.
• Experience with platforms such as Windows, Unix, or Hardware.
• Knowledge of .NET Framework development and Windows Internals, Vulnerability Analysis, or Kernel/system level programming.
• Certified/trained in Corelan Bootcamp/Advanced, ManTech ACTP, Windows/Linux/VR&E, OSCP, OSED, OSWE.
• Experience with tools like Ghidra, GDB, WinDebug, or Fuzzing.
