About the position

Parsons is seeking a Principal Python Developer to support specialized military cyber operations. This role involves high-level software development to enhance national security missions, focusing on the weaponization and productization of exploits and vulnerabilities. The developer will work closely with a vulnerability research team and engage with customers to ensure operational readiness of the developed tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform weaponization/productization of proof-of-concept exploits or CVE vulnerabilities.
• Ensure capabilities are operationally ready for use on live infrastructure.
• Collaborate with the vulnerability research team to gather information on exploits.
• Engage with customers to ensure products meet operational needs.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI + Polygraph clearance.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in exploit/CNO tool development.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with programming languages such as Python, C, C++, x86.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field (Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, etc.).
• Ability to analyze proof-of-concept exploits/CVE vulnerabilities and engineer them to be stable and repeatable.
• Extensive experience in reverse-engineering compiled binaries and source code to identify vulnerabilities.

Nice-to-haves

• 8+ years of experience in exploit/CNO tool development.
• 4+ years of experience with programming languages such as Python, C, C++, x86.
• Experience building and designing small to medium applications in Python.
• Familiarity with C/C++ or assembly languages.
• Experience with Windows, Unix, or hardware platforms.
• Knowledge of .NET Framework development and Windows Internals.
• Certified/trained in Corelan Bootcamp/Advanced, ManTech ACTP Windows/Linux/VR&E, OSCP, OSED, OSWE.
• Experience with Ghidra, GDB, WinDebug, or Fuzzing.
