The Cobrand Acquisitions Risk & Controls Lead, VP, is a pivotal role responsible for establishing and enhancing a control framework that supports the expansion of existing Cobrand Partner channels. This position will oversee ongoing Cobrand control activities related to Partner Generated Marketing Campaigns, ensuring that all operations align with the "Operating in Control" agenda. The individual in this role will manage various aspects of issues management, training oversight, and provide support for both external and internal examinations. A critical component of this position is to ensure compliance with all applicable sales practice requirements for Cobrand partner person-to-person channels. The Risk & Controls Lead will play a significant role in ensuring that Cobrand operates within a controlled environment, facilitating growth across Cobrand portfolios by implementing the necessary controls and processes. Success in this role will depend on the ability to forge strong partnerships with internal teams, stakeholders, and subject matter experts, including those in In Business Control, Legal, Compliance, Risk, and Product and Marketing. The position requires a proactive approach to risk management, emphasizing the cultivation of a robust risk and controls culture within the organization. Key responsibilities include serving as the Operating in Control (OIC) Co-Champion for Cobrand Acquisitions, implementing a best-in-class Risk & Controls dashboard, maintaining audit readiness, and ensuring timely responses to regulatory inquiries. The individual will also be tasked with identifying manual processes, assessing risks, and advocating for systemic solutions to enhance operational efficiency. Staying informed about evolving control requirements and mitigating sales practice risks will be essential to the role, as will the ability to escalate issues and implement sustainable solutions in collaboration with Cobrand Partners.
