About the position

As a Co-Occurring Specialist at Bridgeway, you will be an integral part of a multi-disciplinary team dedicated to providing individualized services to individuals with co-occurring mental health and substance abuse disorders. This role involves assessing the history and current needs of the individuals served, focusing on their mental health and substance use. You will collaborate with the person served and the team to develop integrated treatment goals and interventions that address both mental health and substance use issues. Your clinical leadership will guide the PACT staff in implementing effective co-occurring treatment strategies. This position is not only about providing support but also about fostering an environment where both clients and staff can learn, grow, and thrive together. Responsibilities

  • Provide highly individualized services for enrollees with co-occurring mental health and substance abuse disorders.
  • Assess the history and current needs/preferences of the person served in the areas of mental health and substance use.
  • Collaborate with the person served and the team to develop integrated treatment goals and interventions.
  • Provide clinical leadership for PACT staff in the area of co-occurring treatment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a behavioral health field.
  • Must have CADC/LCADC as required by the Alcohol and Drug Licensing and Certification Act, N.J.S.A. 45:2D-1 et seq.
  • A minimum of two years' experience providing dual disorder/co-occurring services.
  • Valid driver's license required.
