About the position

The Application Engineer Co-op at Eaton is responsible for providing technical application support to customers and various departments within the Bussmann division. This role involves engaging with customers through phone, chat, and email to address technical inquiries, training customers and division personnel, and developing training materials. The co-op will act as a technical expert on Bussmann series products and ensure compliance with relevant standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-depth technical application support to customers via phone, chat, and email.
• Actively engage in the training of customers and Division personnel.
• Develop and update training materials.
• Act as the technical expert from the factory.
• Provide guidance on NEC, UL, CSA, & IEC requirements for overcurrent and overvoltage protection.

Requirements

• Actively enrolled in or received a bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited institution.
• Minimum overall cumulative GPA of 2.8.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States, now or in the future without company sponsorship.
• Must reside within 50 miles of Ellisville, MO.

Nice-to-haves

• Major in Electrical Engineering.
• Two years of coursework completed.
