About the position

Delta Training Analytics team is seeking a highly motivated and data-curious Co-Op who is excited to leverage data to improve the Pilot Training Experience. The Co-op will work closely with the teams responsible for the development, design, and delivery of all training for our 16,000+ pilots. In this role, you will have the opportunity to provide support with various initiatives aimed at enhancing the training experience for pilots. One of the key areas of focus will be Learner Insights & Advisory, where you will deepen the understanding of the training experience and champion the needs of pilots before, during, and after training through research and insights shared from Learner Feedback. You will track and monitor pilot performance against feedback to determine if there is a gap in training programs, ensuring that the training provided meets the needs of the pilots effectively. In the area of Learner Analytics, you will conduct ad hoc analysis to support training curriculum changes or the development of new training programs. This includes helping to create cross-divisional reporting that measures training performance and effectiveness. You will also refresh current dashboards or help develop new widgets/dashboard views, expanding current topic modeling programming to increase accuracy and identify new topics or emerging themes. Additionally, you will support long-term strategy development in Learner Experience Strategy & Integration, which includes pilot training journey mapping and touchpoints, expanding Listening Posts, standardization of surveys, and new data collection implementation.
