About the position

The Project Manager CO-OP will play a crucial role in supporting and contributing to various business projects and initiatives within the In-Flight Services (IFS) program at Delta Air Lines. This position offers an opportunity to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and gain practical experience in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. This opportunity provides valuable hands-on experience in project coordination and communication within a dynamic business environment. The CO-OP will have the chance to learn from and contribute to a diverse team while gaining exposure to the field of Project Management. In this role, the CO-OP will assist in identifying, researching, and planning continuous improvement efforts across IFS program execution. They will support data sourcing, research, and trend analysis to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement. Collaboration with team members will be essential to contribute to the development and execution of strategies and initiatives. The CO-OP will provide support in generating ideas and recommendations focused on enhancing the Flight Attendant (FA) experience. Working closely with cross-functional teams will enhance effectiveness, efficiency, and organizational alignment. The CO-OP will also assist in organizing and facilitating meetings to communicate project plans, goals, and progress, and contribute to regular status reports and updates for stakeholders and sponsors. Additionally, they will support the creation of presentations and data-driven reports.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in identifying, researching, and planning continuous improvement efforts across IFS program execution.
  • Support data sourcing, research, and trend analysis to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
  • Collaborate with team members to contribute to the development and execution of strategies and initiatives.
  • Provide support in generating ideas and recommendations focused on enhancing the FA experience.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance effectiveness, efficiency, and organizational alignment.
  • Assist in organizing and facilitating meetings to communicate project plans, goals, and progress.
  • Contribute to regular status reports and updates for stakeholders and sponsors.
  • Support the creation of presentations and data-driven reports.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate students in pursuit of a bachelor's degree in business or related field.
  • Possesses excellent problem-solving skills, able to collaborate effectively with PMO team members.
  • Proficient in using PC software, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Smartsheet and Power BI experience a plus.
  • Exhibits a drive for results and takes ownership of assigned tasks and responsibilities.
  • Detailed-oriented, with the ability to meet deadlines and effectively manage time.
  • Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.
  • Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles.
