About the position

The position is a Co-op role at Schaeffler, a global technology company, where the intern will provide technical support in various departments such as Production Technology, Industrial Engineering, Digitalization, Quality, or MPL. The role involves managing projects focused on efficiency, six sigma, and lean concepts, as well as analyzing data and assisting in process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for Manufacturing Plant in specific departments.
• Participate in tasks related to the field of study in one of the departments.
• Manage projects that include areas of efficiency, six sigma, and lean concepts.
• Analyze data and perform time studies for process improvements.
• Assist in production planning and other departmental projects.

Requirements

• Enrolled at an accredited institution pursuing a degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics, or Business Administration.
• Computer literate with MS Office, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel spreadsheets.
• Must be in Sophomore year or higher to qualify for Co-op role.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without employment Visa or other sponsorship.
