About the position
The Mechanical Engineering Co-Op position at Westinghouse offers students an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the nuclear energy sector. The role involves providing engineering design and analysis for various aspects of nuclear power plants, including fuel manufacturing and spent-fuel management. Co-ops will work closely with customers and internal teams to gather necessary information and will be responsible for planning and scheduling their work assignments.
Responsibilities
- Providing engineering design and/or analysis for nuclear power plants and related products.
- Interfacing with customers, vendors, and internal functional groups to obtain necessary information for work assignments.
- Planning and scheduling work to meet assignment requirements.
Requirements
- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (other engineering disciplines will not be considered).
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 strongly preferred.
