About The Position
The Database and Analytics Manager is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing and managing a team of highly technical Analytical System (Esri, GIS, Tableau, Posit) Administrators, as well as Oracle and SQL Server DBAs. In this position, you will collaborate with agency business, system and data owners, develop, and execute project, operations plan, and governance process and procedures, monitor team progress, and ensure the successful delivery of agency projects and IT operations. Proactively planning for system upgrades, migrations/modernizations, and managing technical debt will be essential. Additionally, the Analytics and Database Manager will actively participate in the Office of Information Services (OIS) management team's planning and leadership activities. The position will work closely and report to the IT Strategic Operations Manager and will work in close collaboration with the OIS Application Development Team to support ongoing development projects and operational and maintenance work.
