About the position

The Eastchester School District is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the position of Assistant Varsity Lacrosse (Girls) Coach for the Spring 2025 season. This is an anticipated vacancy for the 2024-2025 academic year at Eastchester High School.

Responsibilities

• Assist the head coach in planning and conducting practices.
• Support the development of student-athletes in skills and teamwork.
• Help manage game day operations and strategies.
• Promote sportsmanship and a positive team culture.

Requirements

• Experience in coaching lacrosse at the high school level or higher.
• Strong knowledge of the rules and strategies of lacrosse.
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff.
• Commitment to the development of student-athletes.

Nice-to-haves

• Previous experience as a player in high school or college lacrosse.
• Certification in first aid and CPR.
• Experience working with diverse student populations.
