About the position
The Coach-Assistant for Women's Wrestling at Plain Local School District is a part-time position focused on supporting the Head Coach in managing the athletic program. This role involves assisting in the development and guidance of a specific team, ensuring adherence to the overall coaching strategy, and fulfilling various responsibilities as assigned by the Head Coach.
Responsibilities
- Supports the Head Coach in conducting the athletic program of women's wrestling.
- Demonstrates loyalty to the coach and the team.
- Assists the Head Coach in a manner beneficial to the entire program.
- Takes responsibility for the development and guidance of a specific team as assigned by the Head Coach.
- Attends all meetings requested by the Athletic Administrator or Head Coach.
- Covers scouting trips as requested by the Head Coach.
- Assists in checking in all equipment at the end of the season.
- Assumes responsibilities of the Head Coach in their absence.
- Abides by the Athletic Department policies and operating procedures.
- Performs other coaching-related duties as directed.
Requirements
- Entry-level position with a focus on supporting the Head Coach.
- Ability to conform to the overall coaching strategy set by the Head Coach.
- Willingness to attend meetings and fulfill responsibilities as assigned.
