About the position

The Coach for Boys Basketball at Frederick County Public Schools assists the head coach in developing and maintaining an in-school recruiting program, fostering positive relationships with school staff and the community, and collaborating with the head coach, coordinator of student activities, and school administration. This role is a supplemental assignment for the 2024-2025 school year.

Responsibilities

• Assist the head coach in developing and maintaining an in-school recruiting program.
• Develop a positive rapport with school staff and the community.
• Work cooperatively with the head coach, coordinator of student activities, and school administration.

Requirements

• Successful coaching experience in basketball, with a minimum of 3 years preferred.
• Eligibility for or possession of a Virginia License with a secondary education endorsement is preferred.
