About the position

The Boys Soccer Coach at Constantine Public Schools is responsible for leading the boys soccer program at Constantine High School. This part-time position requires a motivated individual who can prepare student-athletes socially, mentally, and physically for the challenges of competition. The coach will develop a competitive soccer program and engage with the community and youth programs, while also collaborating with other coaches and administration.

Responsibilities

• Lead the boys soccer program at Constantine High School.
• Prepare team members socially, mentally, and physically for competition.
• Support the entire program with goals and planning.
• Develop a highly competitive soccer program.
• Engage in developing a youth soccer program.
• Collaborate with other coaches and maintain open communication with administration.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Knowledge of soccer and its rules.
• Experience as a varsity coach preferred.
• Documented record of success in handling high school age student athletes.
• Experience coaching soccer and/or playing at the high school level.
• Possess strong personal ethics and be a positive professional role model.
• Ability to work within a budget.
• Effective communication skills with athletes, coaches, parents, and administration.
