About the position

Bryant & Stratton College is seeking a part-time Men's Basketball Coach responsible for the overall development and advancement of a competitive athletic program. The role emphasizes both athletic excellence and academic achievement, requiring the coach to operate within budgetary constraints while promoting positive sportsmanship and ethical standards.

Responsibilities

• Participates in on-campus activities to support retention and referral outcomes.
• In coordination with the Campus Director, prepares the season schedule.
• Adheres to budget guidelines, processes purchase orders, and organizes necessary equipment and supplies.
• Conducts a student athlete conditioning program to promote good health.
• Fields a competitive team that promotes good sportsmanship and represents the College positively.
• Conducts daily team practices to develop the skills of student athletes and coaches the team at games.
• Ensures compliance with company policy and procedures, as well as state, federal, and USCCA regulations.
• Manages all student inquiries and follow-up activities through CRM.

Requirements

• Minimum of five years' experience coaching basketball.
• High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree preferred, Bachelor's degree preferred.
• First Aid and CPR certification required.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, planning, and leadership skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with USCCA rules and regulations.
• Good driving record.
