About the position

This position is responsible for leading and developing store teams, ensuring exceptional customer service, driving financial performance, and managing operational processes. The role involves training associates, implementing business solutions, and fostering a culture of diversity and inclusion. The position also requires effective communication of business objectives and collaboration with various stakeholders to achieve sales and profit goals.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop teams by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates.
  • Tour stores and provide feedback to improve operations.
  • Communicate and collaborate with all levels of associates regarding store operations and business initiatives.
  • Model and demonstrate exceptional customer service standards to store associates.
  • Manage and support customer service initiatives and resolve customer issues effectively.
  • Drive financial performance by reviewing and evaluating P&L statements and managing budgets.
  • Monitor merchandise presentation, inventory flow, and operational processes to achieve sales goals.
  • Provide supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates through hiring, training, and mentoring.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and support the company mission and values.
  • Coordinate job-related activities and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 2 years of college; OR 1 year's retail experience and 1 year's supervisory experience; OR 2 years' general work experience and 1 year's supervisory experience.
  • Successful completion of a firearms-specific Criminal Background Check and Firearms Authorized Training may be required for certain facilities.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University.
  • Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University.
  • General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports.
