About the position

The position involves leading and developing store teams to enhance operational efficiency and customer service. The role focuses on effective communication, training, and mentoring of associates while driving financial performance and sales through strategic planning and execution. The individual will also ensure compliance with company policies and foster a diverse and inclusive work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop teams by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates.
  • Tour stores and provide feedback to improve operations.
  • Communicate and collaborate with associates regarding store operations and business initiatives.
  • Introduce and lead company change efforts effectively.
  • Model and demonstrate exceptional customer service standards to store associates.
  • Manage and support customer service initiatives and resolve customer issues.
  • Drive financial performance by reviewing P&L statements and managing budgets.
  • Monitor merchandise presentation and inventory flow to achieve sales goals.
  • Provide supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates.
  • Coordinate job-related activities and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and support the company mission and values.

Requirements

  • 2 years of college education; OR 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience; OR 2 years of general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience.
  • Successful completion of a firearms-specific Criminal Background Check and Firearms Authorized Training may be required for certain facilities.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University.
  • Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University.
  • General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports.
