This newly created position reports to the Assistant Athletics Director/Assistant Dean of Student-Athlete Success & Well-Being, in close collaboration with Academic Advising, and is responsible for providing proactive and comprehensive tutoring and academic support for identified student-athletes in both individual and group settings. The Student-Athlete Success Coach is a member of the DASH team and will play a pivotal role in supporting the holistic development of student-athletes throughout their Stanford career. The DASH team is composed of professional advisors who specialize in Academic Advising and Student-Athlete Success & Well-Being. DASH: Academic Advising: Undergraduate Advising Directors - UADs for Student-Athletes, are full-time, professional staff reporting to the Office of Academic Advising who partner closely with colleagues across campus to provide a comprehensive network of support that promotes a student's academic success and furthers their intellectual goals. DASH: Student-Athlete Success and Well-Being advisors are full-time, professional staff reporting to DAPER who specialize in holistic advising, experiential education, personal and professional development, community building, and leadership opportunities in support of the well-being and success of Stanford student-athletes.
