About the position

The Mod Head Softball Coach at Andrew Langston Middle School is responsible for leading and managing the middle school softball team during the 2024-25 season. This role involves coaching student-athletes, developing their skills, and fostering a positive team environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the middle school softball team.
• Develop training programs and practice schedules.
• Foster a positive and inclusive team environment.
• Communicate effectively with players, parents, and school administration.
• Ensure compliance with school and league regulations.

Requirements

• Experience in coaching softball at the middle school level or higher.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to motivate and inspire student-athletes.

Nice-to-haves

• Previous experience as a head coach or assistant coach.
• Knowledge of FMLA regulations related to coaching positions.
