About the position

The COAF Ops Sr. Coordinator at Capital One Auto Finance plays a crucial role in the Vehicle Remarketing team, focusing on the processing of repossession titling and ensuring compliance with title work prior to vehicle sales. This position requires effective communication with dealerships, DMVs, and financial institutions to gather necessary information and documents, while also managing various administrative tasks to support departmental goals.

Responsibilities

• Process repossession titling for Vehicle Remarketing
• Ensure title work is processed prior to sale of vehicle
• Place calls to dealerships, DMVs, and other financial institutions
• Utilize probing questions to obtain required information
• Request and prepare title work from vendors
• Manage and complete lien verification requests
• Complete daily spreadsheet work
• Monitor performance/daily stats and manage monthly volumes
• Able to pre-fill state documents required for repossession titling
• Maintain a regulated notary log for compliance

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
• At least 1 year using Google Suite or Microsoft Office

Nice-to-haves

• Associate Degree
• At least 1 year of auto loan servicing experience
• At least 2 years of titles or lien placement experience
