About the position

The Coating Operator position at Trelleborg involves setting up and operating machinery to coat products with specified materials. This role is crucial for ensuring product quality and adherence to safety guidelines while working in a night shift environment.

Responsibilities

• Conform to all safety guidelines and procedures
• Operate equipment according to SOP and specifications provided
• Select appropriate coating and/or solution
• Regulate conveyor speeds, machine temperature, air pressure, circulation flow and coatings to material(s)
• Roll dip tank into place; thread tank; remove any material left after draining tank
• Make precise adjustments to machine controls
• Consistently check material to ensure in-depth quality measures
• Assist in weekly preventative maintenance and cleanings
• Perform barcode functions, as necessary
• Operate tugger and forklift
• Sustain housekeeping guidelines
• Be fit for a respirator
• Perform all other duties as assigned

Requirements

• 1 year of manufacturing experience
• Attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Problem analysis and solving competencies
